Chicago, IL; Global Material Technologies, Inc., a Palatine, IL based manufacturing company has entered into an agreement with the Town of Cicero, IL to provide materials to Cicero's Rodent Control Department for experimental use. GMT is developing a line of products designed to help pest management professionals close up burrows and openings in structures that are used as entry points by rats, mice and other pests. In the contract recommended by Cicero Town President Larry Dominick and approved by the Board of Trustees on June 12, GMT agrees to provide materials and Cicero will provide installation, monitoring and performance feedback. It is hoped that through this cooperation, GMT will gain field experience allowing them to develop the most effective product possible. In return, Cicero receives materials to aid their extensive rodent abatement program. GMT has applied for a product patent and expects to launch its line of rodent exclusion products in late 2007. The products will be non-toxic and non-polluting, long lasting and highly effective against large and small pest infestations.
